Year 1919. New Orleans lives in panic since in recent months several people have appeared in their homes brutally murdered, victims of what is already known as the murderer of the ax.

In the letters the police receive, he boasts of being able to kill at will, of being untouchable, almost like a god … And to prove this he threatens to kill again on a specific day. The only way to save yourself? The murderer promises that he will not kill anyone who is listening to jazz that night.

When the indicated day arrives, the entire population of New Orleans, fearing to be the next prey of the murderer, goes out into the streets and fills the hundreds of Clubs that fill the city in which the music bands play jazz without rest.
